Take the Happiness Survey

Take Me to the Happiness Index

Take a comprehensive questionnaire that help you to define happiness and re-define the purpose of life and government.

Get your answers by domain and see how you compare to over 100,000 people who took the Happiness Index
A scientifically valid instrument you can use for your community, campus, company, city, country, or your own happiness. To Take Happiness Home email info@happycounts.org

About the Happiness Index

The survey takes most people 11-15 minutes to complete.  At the end you will be given your personal results. Every question in the Happiness Index is a factor that directly or indirectly contributes to your happiness.

At the end of the survey, you will get your results. They are your own personal assessment of your well-being. A low score does not necessarily mean that you are unhappy, but it may indicate that there is some imbalance in your life. You can use the Personal Happiness Roadmaps as inspiration for making changes in your life for your happiness. Not all the suggestions will be right for you, but they may get you thinking in new ways about your happiness.  You can come back to this page after you take the survey!

The Happiness Index is the First Step of Your Happiness Journey.

Some ways you can use your scores:
  • Use your scores and the Happiness Index as a way to think (or rethink)  about your happiness.
  • Use the Happiness Index as the basis for conversations about what happiness is and about the purpose of life.
  • Use the scores for all survey takes (the pie charts)  as a starting point to learn more about the Happiness Movement & to spark conversations about the purpose of government.
